Hitachi Rail's $883m Monorail Project Crosses Panama Canal

Global mobility giants Hitachi, Hitachi Rail and Mitsubishi Corp. will deliver Metro de Panama’s Line 3. The 25 km elevated line will reduce inner city congestion and tackle the region’s steep mountainous terrain. Hitachi's trains will be equipped with a B-CHOP system that harnesses re-generative power.
